Pebble Creek Preferred Vendor List!!

One of my great vendor partners is Pebble Creek Golf Club a beautiful location for a wedding in New Tampa. Located on a golf course they have several bridges and lots of great places for wedding pics! I have a couple of weddings coming up and I can't wait to shoot there!! Kim Martin, their events director is really fun and energetic and awesome to work with! She just added Carrie Wildes Photography to their vendor partner list so I am super excited about that:-)

Denny and Anna's Wedding Slideshow

Denny and Anna came all the way from Houston, TX and had a beautiful beach ceremony at Fort Desoto. It was a very quiet evening on the beach and intimate setting with Anna, Denny and Denny's 2 girls Sam and Courtney. The girls memorized a beautiful poem and even released butterflies! New Studio!!!

Our house has a great room that I'm going to use for my studio!! Here is when we just moved and and it was kermit green. I can't wait to get it all done and decorated!!!
David suprised me after I came home one day and had it all painted! No more green, now it's Coffee Shimmer according to Home Depot. Our little dog is in the pic too and I'm suprised she got out without having paint on her nose.

Home Sweet Home!

We just moved into our first house here in Tampa! It is a super cute restored 1940s bungalow house in Historic Seminole Heights! It has a great space for our studio (more to come one that) and an amazing back yard with a beautiful fountain that will be perfect for shooting!!

Megan and David's Engagement Slideshow

What better beach to shoot at than Sunset beach! It was a super steamy day but and perfect to get in the water as you will see:-) Megan and David were down from Michigan visiting their family and I was able to meet them and do their engagement shoot. I can't wait to capture their wedding day on 12/27/08!! Check out their engagement slideshow below...

The Big Apple here we come! (or came:-)

Fun fact about my husband David and I...we both love baseball! Growing up in Ohio, my favorite team is the Cleveland Indians and David's is the Braves. We have converted to Rays fans except when they are playing the Indians like this week. Sorry Rays fans the Indians did smoke them and they are unfortunately on a 7 game losing streak. Anyway, we decided that each year for our anniversary we want to visit a different city with a baseball park. So far due to other travel it's been Cleveland and Detroit. Since it is the last year for Yankee Stadium we decided to make that our number 3. Below are the hot sheet highlights of our trip......

This was the sunset from the plane, the colors were amazing!!No this is not me, but I had to take a pic of one of the fake Lady Libertys running around the city. I'd rather have a pic with the real one! Much better! It was super hot too, just like home:-)
I actually got someone to take a cool shot of us.
On to Ellis Island. I'm acting as though I'm still interested in the audio tour after an hour and a half! It actually was really neat to hear about how our ancestors got here. Only in Time Square can you find a gi-normous Eddie Murphy head!
On our anniversary we went to see a Broadway show called Boeing Boeing, it was hilarious! We're waiting for intermission to be over here.
Yeah, this is the line we waited an hour and 40 minutes in for Grimaldi's Pizza. It is a little place under the Brooklyn Bridge and was for sure the best pizza I've ever had! Sorry Chicago, NY wins!Yankee stadium....the Yanks did beat the Red Sox, good thing they are building a new stadium they definately need one!
I would love to shoot a wedding here! This was a beautiful garden in Central Park. We rode bikes around the whole park from Manhattan to Harlem.

Back to Blogging!

Whew! It's been a whirlwind 2 weeks!! So many exciting things have happened!! My husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on July 3rd in New York City, moved to a super cute bungalow in historic Tampa (where I will have an awesome studio and beautiful back yard!!) and I shot an engagement session and wedding right before we left. I'm about to put up Megan and David's engagement session and I can't get wait to get the wedding up!! So, lots of pics and updates are about to happen........
