Sneaks of Jenelle + Leon e-session in Celebration!

Here's a few sneaks of Jenelle and Leon from this past weekend!! We did their session towards the end of the day and got to take advantage of the fun street lights and pillars in Celebration. Janelle and Leon are so much fun I love capturing their expressions. Arami, from Elegante Films also was there to do their engagement video. Since he was, I got to have him use the video light for some cool backlighting when it got dark out. Thanks Arami! Kerline, from Joie de Vie is coordinating the whole event and I'm so excited to work with her and Arami in September!!

Downtown Sarasota Another Great Spot!

A lot of people ask me what an engagement session entails so I thought I would give you my 2 cents and show you another great spot:-) An engagement session to me, is one of the most important things we do in preparation for your wedding pictures. It is usually a 1-2 hour shoot in a location that allows me to use the textures, colors, light, and backdrops to show your personality and it is really just a fun time! It helps us get to know each other and for you to be comfortable with the camera and also give both of us ideas of what you are looking for on your wedding day. I'm always open to suggestions and new places!! This is such a colorful place and lots of cool doors which I love:-) These are some of the backdrops I'll be using for an engagement shoot I have coming up in April!

New Engagement Shoot Locations!

I love shooting in new places and am always on the lookout for colorful and fun backdrops. We went to Sarasota the other day so wanted to post some pics from a couple places there. They don't have people in them yet but soon!! This first one is the Selby Gardens. It's a beautiful botanic garden and had amazing trees expecially the ones with huge red flowers. Tomorrow I'll post some I took when we were running around downtown Sarasota so more to come!!

Real Wedding: Ashley + Mike at the Carlouel Yacht Club!!!

Here's a few sneaks from Valentine's day last weekend:-) Ashley and Mike had a beautiful ceremony at St. John's Epispocal Church in South Tampa and their reception was at the Carlouel Yacht Club on Clearwater Beach. The cocktail hour was in a tent outside and spread out along the boardwalk all the way out to the beach so everyone could watch the sunset while sipping on wine and listening to an amazing violinist!! Paul, from Inspire Entertainment kept the party going and from the cake done by Chocolate Pi, you can see they are both HUGE FL Gator fans! It was an amazing night and so much fun!!! Congrats Ashley and Mike!!!!!
