Real Wedding: Rachel + James

Here's a sneak peek of Rachel and James' wedding from this past Saturday. The day started with hair and makeup by A Hair Affair, Holly did an elegant side up do that went perfectly with the veil and gown. The ceremony was at First United Methodist Church in Dade City, which is a beautiful historic chapel with these huge white doors and stained glass windows. Rachel and James had some really fun personal touches like different ornaments for each guest and a cupcake cake with all their favorite flavors by Alessi Bakeries. Their reception was at Lake Jovita Country Club which is a really fun place to shoot, with all the oak trees, pond, and staircase leading to the property. The decor went perfectly with the red tulips and white roses that Rachel chose designed by Unique Florals. Jessica and Lori from Simply Divine Events did an amazing job coordinating the whole event and really go above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom have no worries on their special day. How to pick wedding flowers???

I am a details person and love photographing all the different types of florals at weddings!! Here's my latest favorite, chocolate calla lillies. I have never seen them before and they were gorgeous! Carbon Motors Concept Car

So, if you saw my post below you may have seen that the Team from Carbon Motors was at the Chamber Annual meeting. I had the opportunity to shoot their concept car after the meeting so here it is!! It's the first custom, purpose built law enforcement patrol car. I know I definately wouldn't want it chasing me! It is still in concept phase but will be in production in the next couple of years. I do have that engineering background in me so it was pretty interesting:-) I haven't seen anything like it. Take a look...............

Tampa Chamber 123rd Annual Meeting

Yesterday I covered the Tampa Chamber 123rd Annual meeting at the Tampa Convention Center. There were over 800 chamber members (myself included:-) in attendance so it was a very large event! Master of Ceremonies was Keith Cate from News Channel 8 and USF's Judy Genshaft, who was the 2008 Chairperson, passed the gavel onto Henry Gonzalez III from the Bank of Tampa. Judy was joined by the marching band and even Rocky the Bull. I also met the officers from Carbon Motors Corporation, who were in town looking at Tampa as a possible place to re-locate their company, more on that in the next post!! NACE Holiday Gala at the Ritz Ybor

This past Sunday I had the honor of capturing the National Association of Catering Executives Holiday Gala at The Ritz Ybor. The event was a benefit and silent auction for The Spring of Tampa Bay, which is a really great organization that provides a sanctuary and services to victims of domestic violence. So many great sponsors contributed to making this event a huge success!! The Ritz was set up with a room that was totally white and one that was red and black with these really trendy cabanas that were draped out by Quest Drape, furniture by Room Service, linens by Connie Duglin and Panache . The florals and center pieces were by Botanica International Design Studio. Invitations by Not From a Box, catering was done by Amicis, Chefs on the Loose, Catering by Design, Cafe Ala Carte and Hunters Green Country Club. Entertainment was by Inspire Entertainment and Breezin. Aymee, from Brides.com, Zoe, from Botanica, and Sandy, from Sandy Rule Events did a wonderful job coordinating the entire event.
