Lifepoint Baby Dedications

Oops, I'm a little late getting this up here! Back on Mother's day our church did baby dedications and I did family pictures afterwards. Definately a great present for the mom's:-) Below are a couple of the families. The first Tim and Stephanie Payne and their son Jayden and new baby Riley. Also Rachel Baer and her family.

Emergence - Emerge Tampa

I attended the annual celebration of the Tampa young professionals group called Emerge Tampa. I've done some work for them and also took some shots at this event. It was in the Channelside courtyard and was a lot of fun with food, music, and great networking! Thanks to Mike Blasko and Kristin Kraemer who are the chairs for the Interact group for promoting my work there!!

Idol fans and Baseball!

Ok, one more post for today. Friday night we went to our first Tampa Bay Rays game. I'm actually a Cleveland Indians fan at heart but I'll cheer for the Rays unless they are playing the Indians. It was a great game! Syesha, from American Idol sang the national anthem since she is from Sarasota and Idol gets to visit the top 3's hometown. The Rays beat the Angels 2-0 with a homerun in the borrom of the 9th! My husband's favorite part was that is was $1 hotdog night:-) Here's a pic of Syesha singing on the Jumbo Tron.

Embassy Suites Brandon Preferred Vendor List!

There is a really awesome new Embassy Suites hotel in Brandon, FL. Allissa Pasant is the Sales Manager there, she is really great to work with! The hotel is brand new and has really awesome trendy decor, fountains, and furniture. I look forward to working more with her soon!

Congratulations to Jenna and Brian Friedman!

I had a blast being back in Chicago for Jenna and Brian's wedding! Jenna and I have been friends since I moved to Chicago after college and we were also roommates for a year. They got married at Village Church in Gurnee and had their reception at a new indoor waterpark called Key Lime Cove. For all you Floridians, up north the waterparks need to be inside since it's only warm enough to go there for about 3 months out of the year, crazy I know:-) It was a beautiful ceremony and really fun reception. Leadership Tampa Graduation

The Tampa Chamber of Commerce has a really amazing program called Leadership Tampa. I had the honor of shooting the event at the Embassy Suites in downtown Tampa. Thanks to Kelsey Bokor for asking me to cover the event! The Leadership Tampa program year begins in September and concludes in May. Members meet every other week for briefings, tours, seminars and hands-on learning. Topics covered include health sciences, education, the environment, redevelopment, tourism and other important community issues. In addition, the class participates in an opening retreat and a trip to Tallahassee during the legislative session. The Leadership Tampa program agendas bring in top-level business, civic and government leaders to address challenges in their fields and answer questions from the class. I hope to be a graduate of this program someday. This is the whole group of them!

Tampa Palms Country Club Preferred Vendor List!

Happy Friday:-) I am so excited to be included on the preferred vendor list for Tampa Palms Country Club! It is an amazing location for a reception and/or wedding! Jeannelle Rossano is the Events Director there and she is amazing, I can't wait to shoot there and work with them!!

Girls Weekend!!

This past weekend I flew up to Cincinnati to see my mom, sisters, and friend Steph. We have girls weekend about every 4 months or so since I'm so far away now. It's been awhile since we've all been together so it was a really fun time! We wanted to do some pics for my mom for her mother's day present. We went up to Devou park which is an overlook from the Kentucky side over the river, as you can see it is an amazing view! it was a really really bright day and I had to use a tripod which I am not a fan of since I needed to actually be in the pictures.

Romano Family Pics

I had a great time shooting for my friend and fellow photographer Kim and her husband Jason. Jason's parents, brother, sister-in-law to be, and cute little puppy were in town from Pittsburg. We went out to Clearwater Beach and did tons of pics there and got to see an amazing sunset. They were so much fun! I put a few pics in a Show It Slideshow below.

Inspiration for Tuesday

I'm not one to usually post political stuff but this video on You Tube is pretty cool. It's Obama giving a speech and it is so inspirational it is made into a song and sung by a bunch of his supporters.

Corrie!

I'm sooooo behind on posting things! I've been really busy shooting these days. So, lots of updates in the next couple of days!!!! I was in Chicago shooting a wedding and got to see lots of great friends. I'll be posting lots more on that wedding soon. I did want to post my super cute friend Corrie, she is an awesome singer and I did some portraits of her for her first album cover so keep your eye out she's going to be famous someday!
